New Members
Welcome! Here's what you'll need to do:

1. Fusion Waiver- Please go here and find the tab Sports Clubs. Then log in with your kerberos ID and from the list, find fencing and follow the instructions to sign the waiver and pay the yearly insurance. It will only cost $20 for an entire year of insurance.

2. Health Info- Fill out Presagia Sports health information so our Athletic trainers are notified of any injuries.

3. Pay the club dues to our treasurers, Kha Ton and Patrick Trieu, at practice. Or through our new Venmo account @UCDfencing.
  • Full-Time: $80
  • Half-Time: $40(Once a week instead of twice)
  • Whole Year (Full-Time for 3 Quarters): $240
  • Whole Year (Full-Time for 3 Quarters) for new members: $210

5. (Optional) If you want to participate in tournaments, which you totally should because they are fantastic learning opportunities, please make an AskFred account.
  1. Go to this link:  https://askfred.net/
  2. Click "Create New Membership" in the upper right corner
  3. Enter your last name in the space provided
  4. Click "Create a New Fencer Record"
  5. Fill out the personal info sheet.
  •     For "Club" choose "University of California at Davis (MTVAL)"
  •    For "Division" choose "Mountain Valley" DO NOT choose "Central California" DO NOT
  •    It will give you an option for ratings in the three types of weapons. As novices you should choose foil. You're rating is "Unrated" or "U". Leave the other categories as "U" as well.
       6. Click "Register"
